Ikea FRÖER Growing set, Parsley, Basil and Peppermint
It was quite amazing to watch the soil expand, the dried discs looked so small, yet with just 200ml of water they expand to fill the entire cup. The seeds are enclosed between two paper discs which makes them really easy to plant. Josh and Kate enjoyed helping.

The basil has sprouted, the parsley is lagging behind but we have seen 2 tiny shoots this morning, no signs of anything happening with the peppermint yet.
I found an article online about regrowing vegetables from scraps and was surprised and intrigued to see celery regrown. I just took the base of the celery and stood it up in a bowl of water.

The celery has been lovely to watch, its growing so fast. I think it nearly time to plant it outside.
