Here are a Few Things that You Can Do to Keep the Kids Entertained at the Weekend

Keeping the kids entertained during the holidays can be tricky to say the least. It’s even harder when you have more than one child, as the age difference may mean that you can’t do something with them both at the same time. If you want to get some help with keeping your kids entertained, then you can find out everything you need to know right here.
Get Messy
Play dough is very easy to make and you can even scent it with whatever you want. If you want to make it even more exciting, then you can also add whatever colour you want as well. Kids of all ages can enjoy this as a fun activity as it means that they can be as creative as they want. There are tons of recipes that you can access online and when you do, you will soon find that you are able to get a great result with very little effort.

Get in the Kitchen
Cooking is one of the most educational activities you can hope to do with your kids. There really are so many recipes out there that you can try and some of them don’t require baking at all. The only thing that you need to do is chill whatever you make in the fridge and when you do, you will have a tasty treat that everyone can enjoy. If you are concerned about your kids having too much sugar, then why not experiment by making different sandwich fillings instead? When you do, you can go out for a picnic when the weather is nice and dry.
Go Out
A lot of people think that going out ultimately means spending a small fortune. You can easily visit a farm- such as this one: https://www.willowsactivityfarm.com/ or you can even try and seek out any local parks that might be of interest. When you do, you will soon find that you can have the time of your life without having to worry about a thing.
Paper Planes
This idea is great if you have older kids. Simply collect some scrap paper and make a fleet of small, or big paper planes. When you do, you can then launch them from your bedroom window into the garden, or you can make a hoop to try and throw them through. When you do this, you can then have a competition to see which one you can make fly the furthest.
Write Some Stories
Sit down with your kids and try and write a full story together. You have to remember that this doesn’t have to be original, in fact, your kids could easily write down the story that they like from a fairy tale but then change the ending. Another great idea would be for you to sit everyone down and then go around in a circle, with each person saying a sentence to carry on the one that has just been said. Eventually you will be able to come up with a full story and when you do, you will then end up with something totally unique! This is a great way to spend a cosy night in.
